New way out there
I found a new way to get over there, and found a nice rock to climb up on. Here’s that shot. My dog, after coming joyously along, now seems very sick, doesn’t want to eat, appears drugged and I am wondering what happened.
Islands of Snow

The snow has melted enough to reveal the water and sand, but there are still islands of snow dotting the landscape for miles. In a few days it will snow again and all this will be white. When Salt and Ice meet
More pictures here. This photograph is a salt flat covered by a few inches of water. This water is here year round, but the icy temperatures makes walking over the flats much easier. Stansbury Island is in the distance.

The Capture My Utah (sponsored by Pixels Foto and Frame, Deseret News, Salt Lake Tribune, Media One) coffee table photo book release party was held tonight at Pixels [...]
